1 Hr lunch break - Jogging Vs Eating

Hello all! I'm hoping some more experienced fitbitters/joggers/exercise gurus can assist me 🙂 So I have an hour for lunch at work. I'd love to get a 30 minute jog into this lunch hour. However, by the time it hits my lunch break, I'm so hungry! Like, I need to eat 😉 ... though eating my lunch then running straight after is going to make me feel sick, and probably give me a stitch... Can anyone give me some advice on how they'd go about fitting it in. I get a 10 minute break in the morning and a 10 minute break in the afternoon... So I could eat at these intervals instead to prevent me being hungry by lunch and able to jog.... but what to maximise energy levels / stop me from getting hungry? THANK YOU ❤️

I see it as you doing two options:

1. Break your lunch up into your two 10 minute breaks and jog during your actual lunch break.

2. Keep some snacks at your desk if possible and eat a granola bar or some protein packed snack before your run then eat your lunch after.

I also go on my lunch break but I always eat after, I was able to push myself to hold out till after. It takes time, but once you get on a specific schedule it should be managable to hold off an extra half hour to eat.

When I go at Lunch time I always eat after. But also like @awood08 said eat a snack earlier.

Do you have a desk job?  My last job was a desk job and I had the flexibility of eating my lunch at my desk.  I worked a 2:30-11pm shift, and I had my first break at 5pm.  Since I never really adjusted to this schedule, and didn't want to be eating dinner at 8pm, I broke my lunch out at my desk on my first break.  When my actual, scheduled lunch came around I used that time to go for a brisk-paced walk.

Eat during the day to keep your energy levels up - apples and bananas are great for doing this.

Also drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated.

I can only eat on my designated breaks because I work in a call centre eating + talking on the phone = big no no 😄 Don't think my boss would be impressed. Thanks though!
