Guys! Guys! As of this week, I am officially able to do TWO FULL PULL UPS!
Okay, I know us girls have less muscle than guys (normally), but don't knock the pull-ups! Those things kill!

A tip I learned (coincidently by our neighbor who was a retired Marine) back in high school when I struggled to be able to do pull ups, is to hang in a pull up with chin over the bar for as long as possible. Do a few reps of those each day and try to increase the time. You will find your strength increase and makes doing them easier.
