I have charged mine with 240 phone charge adaptor and it worked fine. but I have just had trouble charging it with the same 240 adaptor as the lights wouldnt light up when I plugged it into it. Im using the computor to charge it after cleaning the termals so Im not going to say Yes but It does work. But Im not going to recommend it.
hope this helps. but others may have a different opinion
goodluck
