If you ever did one of those Leslie Sansone walking videos, you know there's a lot of walking in place. So I thought, why not combine that concept of stepping in place with, well, hygiene? So when I wash my hands, I step count for 30 while lathering up my hands and then rinse. And when I brush my teeth, I step count for 20 while doing each surface of my teeth, top and bottom (so a total of 60 steps). It's a way to get in more movement.
