I am finally getting somewhere with my weight loss when I've gotten to be in so much pain that working out isn't an option. It's a personal thing and I'm seeing a doc on Wednesday. I don't know what to do. Anything involving movement from my abs to my toes hurts. I've already gained 2lbs back. I don't want to end up where I was. Any ideas?

Listen to your doctor first of all.
Pain is a sign that something's wrong. Listen to your body. Until you know what's wrong, I'd eat right, and take it easy. I wouldn't do anything that aggravates the pain until you know what it is and the doctor clears it, or you could make it worse.

Our weight is mostly controlled by diet, rather than exercise. You can lose weight be cutting calories, even if you don't move off the sofa! Conversely, even if you workout constantly you will still gain weight if you consume too many calories.
So, while you are not exercising its really important to monitor every mouthful.
Good luck with your health concern, hopefully it clears up quickly!
