Yes, I'm the developer of the application and wrote it to help myself get up and move around because I spend a lot of time in front of a computer (IT). I misread your post as if you were asking if I was affliated with Fitbit... I'm not, just an indie developer hoping this app helps others.

No problem with that. I think the disclosure is appropriate, since you're asking money (albeit not a lot) for the app. Since it's brand new and you need to attract users, you should probably make it free to start with (perhaps with some in-app paid features). I'm personally not keen to buy an app that hasn't got a single review.
