Following an accident 5 years ago I bought an Aero Pilates machine, mainly to get the strength and movement back in my right leg. I had dislocated my foot and broke my leg in 2 places resulting in surgery and a pin on the inside of my ankle and a plate and pins on the outside. This really restricted my movement and any form of exercise would leave me in pain for days afterwards, even walking was a real problem, so I decided that enough was enough and opted to have the metalwork taken out.
My exercise is very up and down and this little gadget has got me interested again, but I was quite disappointed having done 30 minutes of Aero Pilates including the cardio board, to find I had only burned 35 calories. However, I also split this exercise with Kettlebells on alternate days and that really does increase the calories used.
I suppose, although it doesn't register as many calories being burnt, I am still exercising doing Aero Pilates.

Glad to hear that you are exercising again. It is recommended manually logging activities like Aero Pilates. On this way you will get more accurate readings of your calories burned.
