Starting today for the month of August I will be doing 10,000 steps a day to raise money for The Somerville Foundation who support Congenital Heart Patients through from teens to adulthood.
A friend has offered me an airwalker to borrow for the month to get extra steps in. Does anyone know if an airwalker will pick up my steps with my FitBit? I have the FitBit Flex 2.
Best AnswerHello @SunsetRunner and a warm welcome. An air walker uses arm motions similar to walking, so I am pretty sure it will pick up steps. I recommend using a band instead of the pendant. Wearing the pendant might not pick up the motion, if that model tends to be a more smooth, level motion.
Why don't you take it for a test walk at your friend's place before bringing it to yours?

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.
Thank you for your welcome.
I have a band round my wrist. The model is a Tony Little Gazelle freestyle one, so hoping it picks up my walking motion.
Going to my friends tonight to try it out before I take it home.
