Any one experience incorrect heart rate readings with blaze during weight e

Hey guys

Today i tried weight excercise with my blaze...i wore it 3 fingers above wrist bone height...but i was disappointed as it showed my heart beat around 80-100 bpm...which was way too low than real which was above 160 bpm n same goes for calorie burn

Is it normal for optical monitor to get incorrect reading during weight lifting or i m doing something wrong?

You would have to be lifting a lot of weight to get your heart rate up there like that.  For me lifting weights there is a lot of down time between sets.  Unless you do something cardio between sets to keep the heart rate elevated it's not going to read that high.  I get between 100 and 120 when I lift weights.  But I've only been lifting for a month.
