Hello,
I am kinda new to Fitbit and trying to fumble my way around the app and website. My health insurance company had a wellness tab with a bunch of topics etc and somewhere in that I found Sharecare and Fitbit. I recently rcvd a free digital scale and Fitbit inspire 3 and so far I really like it. I am hoping it will get me moving and stay motivated to live a healthier lifestyle with exercising and eating better. Id like to make a few connections with people who use fitbit. Now that summer time is fast approaching id like to find a few local friends to support, discuss what works / doesnt and possibly have some group walks at Great Falls, local parks. Please feel free to send me a friend request.

I’m in Columbia, feel free to add me. I love hiking/walks at Patapsco Valley.
I tried to private message you, but doesn’t seem to be working.

Hey I'm from NC and just rejoined Fitbit. It seems that there's a lot of new stuff that is confusing. Especially trying to get new friends. I had my share of crazies wanting to connect elsewhere. Hopefully with this new format and closed (member invite only) some of that will be gone. Please feel free to send me a friend request.

In the Fitbit app, you can go to the "Community" tab and search for groups or challenges that align with your interests. You can join communities focused on specific fitness goals, wellness topics, or local activities. This can be a great way to find like-minded individuals and participate in group discussions.
You can use the "Friends" feature in the Fitbit app to send friend requests to other Fitbit users. You can search for friends by their email address or username, or even connect your Fitbit account to your social media accounts to find friends who are also using Fitbit.

Apparently you don’t have any username before, maybe you need to set your username in the app as well? Look here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1294.htm
Follow the step on how to setup your username from this article in the Fitbit app and make sure the green mark is on your username so people can add you
you can add me by username: richbenn
