I am planning on giving this a bash one bank holiday in May. For 2 reasons. 1 to see if i can do it, and 2 will probably do it for a charity.
It will totally be done a treadmill, so i can eat & drink & binge watch a TV series or run of movies on the go. I only intend to stop for toilet

I have done four 24 hour races as a walker, but never on a treadmill. The most I've done is 60 miles and took at 1 hour, 45 minute nap during that time. The two best pieces of advice I can give are to take care of your feet and be sure to take in enough calories while you're doing it. If you don't do those, you won't make it. Good luck!

I did a 47 mile walk in may to get my Olympian Sandles. It took me from 0430-2230. But it was also done on a baking hot day, which didn't help.
Would i need to increase my water intake from the standard 2.2ltrs? And illI only be eating cold food, whatever I can keep besides me on the treadmill. What would you suggest?
Thanks for your insight

The amount of fluids you drink will be dependent on how much you sweat. As for me and others that do races like this, we vary what we drink during that time. I drink water, Gatorade and even some sugar soft drinks when needed. During my race, they provide lots of food options, including hot foods like pizza, burgers and soup. You have to eat what your body is comfortable with, but you need to eat some foods with high carbs or you won't make it.

I couldn't even begin to imagine what that would be like. I would be worried I would fall asleep on the toilet during a bathroom break. I can't wait to hear how you do. I think as far as food and hydration, I would imagine you are going to do a slow to moderate paced walk which will be murder on the feet but more than likely not result in a ton of sweat or calorie consumption. but, I have no idea what I am talking about.. and really can't wait to hear what happens..
