Hello I'm George.

Recently got the pixel 3 watch, 60 years old Dr. told me I need to do cardio at least 3 times a week. Don't feel like going to town that often, so was looking at rowing machines as I figured that would be low impact but work a lot of my body.

Was curious as to which brand you have found works best with the Fitbit app?

Thanks for the feedback, George

I'm 78, used to be primarily a runner and sometimes swimmer; now overweight, with terrible knees. Rowing machine doesn't bother my knees at all - good choice.  I use a Concept 2 rower - older model that has lasted well.  As for fitbit integration, tough to judge - sometimes heart rate goes nuts  but I can tell when I'm getting workout, and it has monitor that measure distance and time so I can always just go by the distance I row and compare times.  BTW I usually watch a Netflix show while I row to pass the time.

@Cyclops531  I meant to add, I have no experience with any other rowing machines so no judgement intended on any others.

Hello @Cyclops531

I know you're asking about rowing machines. However, I'd like to offer another option for your cardio workout.

Consider using YouTube videos for your workouts. There are so many workout instruction videos on YouTube, including ones specifically for seniors & beginners. One of my favorites is Yes2Next done by a daughter and mom. In addition to cardio workouts, they also have ones for strength training & balance.
