I've been using the auto-detect run feature while out walking, it is helping me to learn to run. I track my walk through the app on my phone, and when I run for a minute or so my fitbit vibrates on my wrist.
Does anyone know if you can change the auto-detect run time to 2 minutes then 3 minutes etc to improve my running.
Thanks
Best AnswerHi @renzplace -- I suspect that you have a newer fitbit and that the vibration you get is due to your heart rate increasing into the active zone. When you start walking again, your HR drops, and then when you run the next minute it goes up again and you get the vibration again. Here is a little more about active zone minutes.
What kind of fitbit do you have? Many have countdown timers that you can play with to set up different running intervals.

Best AnswerThe Sense has an option in the exercise app, specific for running. It can autostart the app and actual running exercise during the activity unlike the existing auto detect exercise. It is called "Run detect" in the settings "Start the exercise app if we detect running". This is not available for Walking and there is no option to change the time delay before starting up the Running exercise app.
