Is a little off the topic of what people talk here about but this can relate to the fitness lifestyle. For you which are the best running shoes to wear?

If you are not heavy you should go for the shoe that offers the best rear foot stability, ( strong heel counter). This will limit any the chances that at midstance you will go into hyperpronation which is a killer for runners. Hyperpronation could lead to plantar fasciitis, posterior shin splints and later patellar/femoral syndrome. Shoes that offer alot of cushioning, cannot offer rear foot stability.

I am quite heavey 96Kg and I also have back and knee problems so I went for the Adidas Springblades - a comfortable shoe with great shock absorbers. When I run its like im floating along

I ran with my coworkers in California's Longest Party a few years ago and learned from our team's mentor that you need to trim your toenails down to the nub when you run long distances or they will turn black. Even though I trimmed as he said I still ended up with one bruised toenail. But don't blame the treadmill or your shoes, I guess it's just a long distance runner thing.

The only time I got bruised toe nails was when my shoes were to big, ever step caused my toes to hit the front of the shoe. I've never trimmed my nails down to the nub.

I went to my local running shoe dealer (Potomac River Runners) and was well pleased. Video taped how I hit the ground at various speeds on a treadmill. I have a wide foot, so I'm somewhat limited in my choices.
I came away with 2 pairs of Brooks. #1 Brooks for flat trails - I chose the Brooks Adrenaline, and for more serious trails, #2 Brooks Beast (wider base).
I've had both now for quite a few miles and couldn't be more pleased

I really do like the Saucony shoes. Light weight, not so good in winter time though.

Every time I find the perfect shoes, they get discontinued.

Got myself a pair of New Balance Vazee Rushs https://bestoutdooritems.com/best-running-shoes-for-mortons-neuroma-reviews/ a few weeks ago, and having put just a little under 15 miles in them, I can say without a shadow of a doubt they're comfy AF. Of course, if you get a pair of custom insoles, any shoe is going to be comfortable. These shoes are flexible and breath well, I would keep them strictly on the road and track though, no trail running.
