This may be. Bit bold; but, where I am at now: I am in a good place. Used to, I was a religious hypocrite; but, comitted horrific lies and manipulations. Even to strangers. If I have met you in the past via messages here in the Fitbit community, Facebook groups regarding Fitbit, customer service, or elsewhere: I am sorry! I got hooked on Fitbit several years ago, and I have not jumped off the bandwagon yet. For the most part: Fitbit is accessible with my disability (Late 2015 / 2016 / 2017 ish). I was overweight when I went in the hospital late December 2015 and I did not like that. I had a history of using OTC meds to cause weightloss. But, Fitbit got me started very easily to ramp up my exercise in order to lose weight. Previously, my weight loss was more of a yo-yo, leading to me being overweight (not by much, just a few pounds. Anyways, Fitbit was a tool that I started to use the wrong way now that I was back on the bandwagon! Overexercise was the way to go for me, and at times I could use OTC meds to help. I was setting some crazy step goals. I was meeting friends on Fitbit (through Facebook) and lying, manipulating, etc.It was really nice to be on the top people ranking in my friends list based on high step counts. However, in December 2019, that slowly started changing. I tryly began a born again believer in Jesus Christ. I quit lying to God, and truly became a born again believer. I am just now posting this because of fear. I could have posted it earlier; but, fear of people kept me from it. No one would understand unless they had been through what I have been through in life - Seriously! I am slowly starting to be more conservative with my steps. Thank you FitBit: I am thankful for this little device. God is slowly (as I cooperate) doing a work in my life, and this is too good not to share with the public.

Hello @MelissaFlammia have to give you credit for stepping forward and admitting to your past faults. Now you can start over with the right attitude and the proper goals for yourself. One step at a time, one day at a time and don't try to do more than is reasonable. Fitbit is a great tool for us.
