A fitness walk is not a stroll. You should be walking at a pace of 3.0 to 4.5 mph. At this pace, you will be breathing harder, but still able to speak.
Also, get the most out of your walk! Swing your arms back and forth. Who cares what you look like! No one ever made a major change by being like everyone else!
Lastly, do not walk with weights. It is potentially harmful to the health and stability of your joints.

Thank you for the tips @bodylogicbyjeff 💪
I love the "Who cares what you look like!", that's very true. Great movie by the way 😎
Thanks Davide!!! It took me a long time to realize I don't need to care what anyone else thinks 😊

It always surprises me the people I see walking with weights. Some have been pretty heavy too. 🤔

I was actually thinking about doing that @bodylogicbyjeff @WendyB 😂, but now that I think about it after reading this thread, I'm definitely not gonna try it.
I tore a muscle in my leg a few months ago and I don't think i'd wanna have that kind of pressure on my legs and knees. Thanks for the advice! 😁

I have worn a ten pound vest for my walks, which has even distribution, so I think it is good. I know for sure I am working harder when I have it on, so for days I can't run or I just need to feel stronger, that is my go to
