Cross-country run: How to categorize?

ANSWERED
Hi all,

I tried to categorize my workout today, and only came across "crossfit" and "cross country skiing". I also tried a search for trail running (no results). The closest thing I found was "hike", but I imagine that's not quite right since I was running.

Any suggestions? How have you guys categorized this type of workout?

Thanks,
works

Accepted Solutions

Depending on device used - you may have created an activity record.

In which case edit it and name it whatever you want.

Searching the database is if you want to manually log it for calorie burn using the database.

Otherwise, just be consistent so you can compare later.

Hi Heybales, thanks for the reply. Good point that it's mostly useful for calorie burn. I'm focusing more on active minutes, and I forget that my Charge HR's heart-rate data will be used to automatically track those. Still getting used to upgrading from the Fitbit One 😛
