Hey Everyone
I am an Accounting Manager and spent all my day at my desk writing emails, reports, and calls. I have started going to the gym every night for at least an hour (sometimes two if i do an hour of pilates after).
I try to hit 10k steps but that includes my hour workout....how can i increase my steps to 20k......
Any tips would be helpful

I work as a fitness trainer so my job is to move. When I was looking for a job, I had to pass an interview, for which I was very much preparing, because the hall where I wanted to get a job was very prestigious. My employer spoke to me, and then I sent him a thank-you letter . They liked me and they took me. To be honest, I am glad that I have such a job, where I have to constantly move and I lead a healthy lifestyle unlike my friends, who have a sedentary job and do not move much.

Then there are those of us, me included, with completely sedentary jobs who still manage one-hundred thousand, and occasionally two-hundred thousand steps in a week. 🙂

In my case, I started to suffer sciatic nerve pain and it was due to a lumbar hernia so my doctor advised me to stand up and take some steps around the desk every 20 minutes because sitting many hours without standing up affects the lumbar area.
When I stand up, I go to fill my water bottle in order to take some steps and follow my doctor's advice.
You can take this into consideration if you don't have enough time to walk for a long period of time.
