I saw this information posted in another forum and of course can not find it now!!! Today I tried using this feature pressing the stopwatch during my activities - I did Yoga this morning for 28 min and also walked the treadmill at a vigourous pace for 30 min and both times when I went to log this information I didnt see where I could enter it in, as I read in the other forum that you can then enter in your activity because it will have your timed saved???? Maybe this is a feature for other models. I have the force.
I also have been entering in my own walks on t'mill because what the t'mill and my NikePlus app reflect is higher than my fitbit and I wondered why??? So I overwrite it to indicate when I walk 3 miles on tmill so I get credit for that. I have measured my stride in fitbit - I need to check my nikeapp settings for stride. I used to be a runner but hurt myself so I no longer run, just walk to get fit in addition to yoga and strength training. But like using the app still since I have alot of miles covered with running, Id like to see what I cover while walking!
Thanks

When you are using this feature you do not need to log it. When it syncs it will show on the Activity tab. Scroll down.
I would not use it for Yoga. Fitbit is step based and will not pick up Yoga. I would manually log it.
The treadmill: you are using a different stride than your normally walkin so it will not be accurate as far as miles. I just let it count the steps and leave it alone.

Sometimes I have to synch twice to see a timed activity.

Thanks to all who replied -- I did not let it sync prior hence why it didnt show up but it did today! Thanks for the tip!!! And that makes sense on not doing it for Yoga - I will add that manually as I do want to get credit for the calories since I do the food journal!
@slysam Thanks for your awesome tips - that makes sense in terms of briskly walking which I usually do and casual walking which is how I measured my stride!!! I did a wkout today at a more vigorous pace and it did register .1 off in mileage whereas over the weekend I did a very low key walk to exercise for an hour and it was off!!!! So that has to be it - however today I used the timed feature too so maybe it adjusted to my pace/steps? Who knows but thankfully it was almost exact so Ill take it! And calories were 1 number off too! So hopefully timing my wkout is doing the trick for accuracy! Thanks again.....its nice to have a support group to depend on when needed!

Simply synchronizing your device on your computer containing the Fitbit application is much faster than entering your information manually. I expected that I could synch my device simply by going to the dashboard accessible through the web browser and plugging in my device with the USB chord however that does not seem to work. Oddly I was able to synch using the bluetooth USB from a computer that did not have the app installed.
