G'day Gang, just wondering if there is a way to add other exercise types when you are tracking exercise? I would love to know how far and how slow I have paddled my kayak on any given day.
Cheers
Robbie

No, you cannot add "kayak" as an activity listed on your tracker and track distances with it. If you want to track distance (and have a map drawn of your itinerary), you will need to pretend you’re doing an activity like walking or hiking, both of which track distance using GPS. Note that unless your tracker has built-in GPS (Ionic), you will need to have your phone with you.
What you can do is rename the activity as "kayak" afterwards, if you want it registered as such for posterity. This can be done in your Dashboard.

What might work, if you only want to track distance, is a phone app like 'map my ride'. If it can gps distance on a bike and a walk I don't know why it can't in a kayak. If you don't take your phone on your trips of course, it won't work 🙂 Hubby and a 'pelican box' he took kayaking with him that kept things dry.
