I had both hips replaced 2 yrs ago and i used to take a walker out every day and walk as much as i could.I would stop occasionally and do some of the leg exercises that the knee and hip clinic gave me using the walker for balance.
Using a walker will strengthen your arms and upper body as well to a certain extent.
I bought an exercise bike with upper body exercise arms included once i was able to get off the walker and crutches.
If you live in Canada the red cross loans all the stuff out for free.

I wish you a speedy recovery. There was a show awhile back I think it was total transformation or something like that. The trainer had a woman in her first week severely injure her foot. He had her scooting around on a scooter which ended up burning a ton of calories. I don't know if that is an option for you since you would have to push with a leg, but it stayed with me because of the calories.

Here's one: https://www.popsugar.com/fitness/Seated-Arm-Workout-5-Minute-Video-36729872
I can't do the dips, so I just do more curls or tricep extensions.
If you can stand, here's another good one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XJr4-6JZU4
And another arms only: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szsjlcDleBo
Hope this helps.

I agree with the suggestions. I used my walker for a long time to go out for walks.
And seated weights are really good as well.
Right now I still use a cane but I go on a trail that is uneven. If I walked the roads I wouldn't need it. But I prefer trail.
Hang in there! Speedy recovery!
