Hello All:
I purchased my Ionic over a month ago and it looks great! I've had it for a month and nothing has happened. Haven't lost any weight, as a matter of fact I gained 1.5 pounds. Going to take it back since its not working.

Hi @Hitori_One - Sorry for your disappointment. But you realize that weight loss takes more than just walking, right? And often, exercise (if you are doing that as well) can develop muscle which weighs more than fat. What life style changes have you put into effect? Why do you think the Fitbit device is at fault? I’m curious.

I was adding a little humor to the forum from a country boy's perspective :-). I've lost 26lbs on my weight loss program and continue to move forward. It's difficult to keep motivated but with determination I keep at it. My Ionic works great but I have serveral questions that I want answered.
1). Is the Apple Series 4 a better way to monitor your fitness program. I've heard the battery life isn't that great.
2). Am I logging my exercises correctly into MyNetDiary based on the information I get from FitBit.

Richard

Oh, you’re a sassy one, @Hitori_One ! Thanks for the chuckle! For question #1, Fitbit devices have come out on top in all my comparisons. As for #2, I’ve not used it. Hopefully someone else will step in.

@Hitori_One so glad you clarified your post.. I am laughing because I was going to seriously sass you about it. congrats on your weight loss. I am not an apple person so I don't know. I think it boils down to "other" features that may coexist between apple devices. For example, on android, I can reply back to messages straight from my tracker, but apple folks cannot because of apple restrictions. if you are all apple, you can do that. the activity I think is tracked similarly but I haven't heard great things about HR tracking on the apple. again, being an android person, I probably hear what I want to 🙂
