If you followed the World Cup this summer like I did, you were likely exposed to a number of commercials about soccer, sports, or fitness.
This got me thinking about how we're encouraged to be more active without even noticing- an indirect approach to motivate the population to be more active is by means of product placement. What better time to motivate people to get more active than by doing so while they're not being active at all? I then thought about commercials that stood out to me, and thought I'd share with you all!
My favorite fitness-related adverts of all time is Nike's Take it to the Next Level. For a calm, yet inspiring approach, I love Risk Everything.
I absolutely loved the Derrick Rose version of a bullfight. Adidas really knocked this one out of the park!
Gatorade's KD/DWayde ad is a classic, and if you're you're a fan of Phil Collins or Basketball, you have to check out Miami's player introductions from a few year's back.
Now that you have a good idea of what gets me going, I encourage you to share any motivational videos or adverts that you find inspiring!

I am a big fan of Howard Freeman. His Nike Ad "Run" is one of my favorites. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gF0rrpMH-Jo

Well it's not specifically a fitness commercial... but is about taking on and meeting a challenge. I find it very motivating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sb2YOg_dkQM
