FitBit that displays mile pace time? Help!

Hello, I have a Fitbit and I love it. My husband is currently training for a half marathon & I'm thinking of getting him one, but I don't know which type of FitBit displays mile pace time. (He will need this feature for his race). I scanned the products, but it's difficult to tell which one has this feature.    Help!

Thank you - Jessica

@JessicaScharf,

Except for the Surge, which was discontinued, all the Fitbits get their GPS by linking to the phone. If that link is broken, the pace becomes inaccurate. Another problem with the Fitbits is they have LED screens which are difficult to see in the sunlight.

I suggest looking for another device with an LCD (gray) screen that has a self-contained GPS.

@JessicaScharf, I think the Fitbit Ionic has an app for that.  You might want to do a search on the Fitbit App Gallery Forum to see if there is reference to it there - if you don't find any, post your question there to see if it gets replies.
