My friend finally gets a Fitbit after I've glamorized its wonderful benefts and social health conscience challenges. So you can understand how I felt when he sent me this text message "

Wtf this Fitbit man,  **ahem**in heart rate over 100 and Doing legs and not registering steps Stupid AF" I feel I personally let him down!

I think your friend has problems articulating himself. At least I couldn’t understand what his exact problems with his new Fitbit are.

I have the Charge and love it.  I can't speak to his heart rate, but he did say he is doing legs.  How much is he doing and how healthy is he?  100 isn't hard to get to when working out.  Also, the one thing I do not like about fitness gear is where they want you to wear it.  It felt unnatural to me at first.  Make sure he is wearing it properly per the setup instructions and manual.

As for steps I find it very accurate while measuring what I know to be true and comparing other devices.

we would all be happy to help your friend if we understood what his problem is. Is he saying its not counting steps while he is weight training and its leg day? Is he saying his HR is too high for the activity he is doing? how specifically can we help?
