Heart Rate Zone

My cardiologist wants me to reach 60% to 80% of maximum heart rate for 30 minutes five days a week. I'm 66 so the 60-80% of max equates to 93 to 123 BPM. That heart rate on my FitBit puts me into the fat burn range. How is Fat Burn vs Cardio vs Peak calculated? I'm concerned trying to sustain the cardio level per FitBit is more than I should be doing. Thanks for any insight or answers.

@DavisFancy, the Fitbit Fat Burn and Carido zones are calculated using the standard 220 max heart rate calculations, based on the age you entered into your profile.  You should be watching your heart rate, to ensure you are in the 60% - 80% range as suggested by your doctor, and not concerned with the "zone" it is in. It is important to get your heart rate up into the 60% to 80% range and then keep it there for 30 minutes. This means you will have a warmup and cooldown period on each end of that 30 minutes  that you were "in the zone" of 60% - 80% of max heart rate.
