I am currently using my Fitbit Charge HR to keep an eye on my heart rate because I have a Pulmonary embolism which is putting strain on my heart. If my HR exceeds 110 I need to stop what I am doing and rest.
I would like to see the ability to have an alarm threshold on the device whereby if my pulse exceeds 110bpm I would be made aware by the device alarm.
The exercise zones don't really help me and I would like to be able to turn them off when the custom zone information is entered.
The trace of RHR has been really revealing about the effectiveness of my treatment and rate of recovery but what would also be nice is an alternative display mode which showed heart rate only as when I was in hospital but not attached to any hospital monitoring, it was useful to use my phone as a personal HR monitor.

@Ps_aitch: there is a Feature Suggestions forum that you can use to suggest new features. Keep in mind, however, that Fitbits are designed primarily as activity and fitness trackers, not as medical devices.

Thanks, I was aware that they are fitness trackers rather than illness trackers. I was directed to this forum by a support email in response to the same suggestion by email.
However I don't think there is anything similar on the market with the necessary capabilities which minor changes to software would allow it to perform as I have suggested.
