Fitbit is telling me 124 / 77 mm Hg is Prehypertension - that seems incorrect?

That would be correct. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/highbloodpressure.html 

 

Systolic over 120 or diastolic over 80 is prehypertension.

That is true. It used to be 140/90 but the AHA has changed it to a lower number. Just another motivator to get moving I guess as I am now prehypertensive as well. SIGH.

Correct with the Heart Org guidelines. The 77 is OK but the 124 is pre-hypertensive.

 

Fitbit has set the limits to be under 120/80 for normal BP.
