Hello,
I have a problem with counting the steps when I'm using the scooter. I use it to go to work and if I don't do more than 10minutes, the time spent on it doesn't reflect in exercise, nor in steps. The sad part is that I usually use the scooter for 8 to 11 minutes, so I lose my steps. 😞 Does anyone know a solution for this? I don't wanna put my watch(Blaze) in the pocket ![]()
Have a nice day ^_^

Best AnswerNo, of course I'm not talking about a motorized scooter 🙂
Here's a crazy idea...
...instead of using a scooter to get to work, walk!
I'm confident that your Fitbit will count more steps if you are actually doing more steps.
My kettle doesn't bake very nice bread, but it does boil water. Using technology for its intended purpose tends to produce better results.
Thanks for the sarcasm, unfortunately that's not what I need and your answer does not help me. As I said, I would've liked the time spent on the trotta to be reflected in the exercise section if not in the steps. I don't think it's okay to tell people what to do. I have my reasons why I use the trot sometimes, but I will not go into these details because that's not what this topic is about.
@SunsetRunner, that is an interesting idea. I will try it next time and I'll come back with the results 😄 Thanks!
As noted by another, the arms need to be moving, did not do my homework it seems. No steps recorder when I am pushing the grocery cart! or any cart, say in Hobby Lobby. Tried pushing cart one-handed, oh well, go for the calories.
@Bill_k wrote:Yeah well fitbit doesn't work on certain things because it relies on hand movement so i just am content with calories burned in those cases.
