"Recent" foods doesn't have its own search bar so the user can search through the recent foods? If fitbit keeps the data of what you ate through weeks, why can't the "recent" tab do the same?

That's a great idea.  You can put in a Feature Request here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Requests/idb-p/features

 

I just did a quick search and didn't find another similar proposal.
