that stinks. I once left the house with the tracker on the charger to go to the gym. I got to the gym, parked and turned off the car before I realized. Started it back up again and went home to get it. Insanity.

If the band I'm wearing is low, especially in the morning, I have that little routine. Sync, switch, sync again. I've found out the hard way if I don't do this I risk losing steps (doesn't always happen, but every now and then it does).

I have never forgotten mine. But they sit on my desk either charging or ready to wear the next day. I always get my email in the morning and put them in my robe pocket and carry on until they are attached to my wrist after getting ready for work.
But Im bad and would come back home and get it if I did forget it Like @emili

Best Answerwell I ended up with 5,001 steps recorded, not including the 9 hours at work, so I'm ok with that. I hustled to hit the halfway at least lol ![]()
Best AnswerI'd recommend getting a portable battery pack. Even a small one is enough to charge your Fitbit Alta. I do that for mine and put it in my pocket whenever I need to charge, so that way I still track steps as well as getting my Alta charged. If you are showering, try to put it in the pants pocket you intend to wear after you're done.
