GPS re-tracing steps?

Hi,

I got the fitbit versa so that I could use the GPS feature on hikes and later be able to replicate those same hikes by following my GPS map created with the versa. Does anyone know if this is possible? I am able to create the GPS map while on a hike, but I can't figure out how to bring it into a "live" map, which would show where I am compared to the entire path I took previously. Is this possible?

I don't think you can do it with the device or app. Fitbit devices have no GPS navigation feature, neither the app has. But what you can do is to export TCX file from the dashboard and convert it to the GPX. I think this may work ( I haven't tried myself 😞

When you have GPX file you can upload it to one of the navigation apps, for example, Komoot or Strava, or to any other GPS device ( bike computers etc. ). Also, you can import such a map into the Google Maps ( section My Maps ) and use Google Maps navigation to follow the route.
