I used to wear the Fitbit Force and it broke. I fractured two toes and I was in bed for almost a year. I put on 45 lbs and I am ready to get serious with healthy eating and daily exercise.
I ordered the Fitbit Ultra. I am hoping it will be easy to navigate. I tried the Fitbit Charge 3. For me, it was complicated and didn't offer me encouragement. I hope the Ultra will be easy. Does anyone know if the Fitbit Ultra work on the treadmill?
Sorry for blabbing!

@SunsetRunner how is the inspire doing for you? The more accurate inspire for the treadmill would be the non HR since it is a pedometer and not wrist worn. The general thought process for the treadmill and the fitbit is that it isn't accurate because your stride is different on the treadmill than it is outside when you are pacing yourself. It is however accurate enough for sure and the calories will be determined by your HR. I will also say that the faster you go on the treadmill the less accurate the step count is but of course the better the workout will be for calories burned. Hopefully you and your little buddy are getting along great!

I wonder where you found an Ultra, assuming you don't mean Alta. It has been discontinued for several years. I'm not sure you will even be able to get it set up.

It does work on treadmill but, like all wrist-worn trackers detects steps from normal swinging of arms while walking. If treadmill hand rail is held with fitbit hand, steps might not be detected but calorie burn would still be good, based on heart rate. To get steps detected, can put in pocket, but lose heart rate data for that time.
