Has any one tried this app? Basically, (if you're not familiar) you sign up for a certain number of days that you commit to going to the gym. If you do not meet your number of days by the end of the week, it charges you a fee. That money then goes to people who did meet their goals. You can get paid for exercising!
Is this insane? Or so insane it just might work? Anyone tried it?

I use it! You can also make a pact on your fruit and veggie intake and food logs. You can get more information here: https://www.pactapp.com/
Apparently it syncs with the GPS on your phone, so you have to check in at a gym. Not sure how that would work if you went for a run in a park or something. And you have to take pictures of your food (for the fruits and veggie component) and other users vote on whether or not it counts...
It sounds kinda fun, but I'm not totally sure. I don't like the idea of guilt being directly associated with exercise....

@DominicJ You don't really get a lot of money for the activities, it is more on the lines of a penalty for slacking off. Other people vote on your photos to see if they count, your food logs have certain rules; your Fitbit steps will count as a workout after a certain number or you'll need to check in via gps.
Honestly, I don't see the point of lying on the app to get money. It's a reeeeeally slow way to get money ![]()
