Some years ago, when I was running marathons and ultras, I used heart rate training as the basis of my training. Successfully, as it turned out, as i had most of my personal bests doing that.
Now I'm walking, not running. Daily walks, always at least one, sometimes two. I'm delighted with the HR tracking capabilities of my Inspire HR.
Anyone else here using heart rate training and a Fitbit in the training (either walking or running)?

I do heart rate and power based trainings a lot but it never worked with Fitbit as it isn't really designed for that. There is no support for HR-based targets, only 3 HR zones (not suitable for real training) and accuracy during high intensity exercise was not there.

Yes, I realized the same thing after working with the Fitbit for a while. (It was brand-new when I posted my question.)
Not a big deal. I still have my Garmin.
