Hello Fitbit Community!

Hi everyone!  Just got my charge fitbit for Mothers Day.  I'm loving the sleep feature.  My husband tells me I don't sleep enough - according to fitbit - he's right!

I'm a 51 years old mom of 5.  A cancer survivor.  I stay fit to fight off any disease I should get again, in a healthy way.  I want to be strong enough to win the battle.  I am constantly working out and trying to lose here, tone there.  I'm a vegetarian (again for the reasons of a better health choice) and gluten-free (this one not my choice).

Just saying hi - looking forward to the chatting, sharing and support!

I admire your determination to get/stay fit, as well as your ability to find the time to keep up with your health and your 5 kids.  How do you do it?

I'm 71, maintaining a 60-lb weight loss achieved three years ago, and fairly recent to exercise.  Was finally able to retire from a sedentary 43-year work life and began to get serious about my health, now that I had the time to.  We eat very simply, almost no processed food or meat, and no bread or cheese.  I love Fitbit, having had the One for the last two years and got a Charge HR about 10 days ago.  I've been wanting the heart-rate data. Love the double-tap, the alarms, and the notification of daily goal achievement...

Anyway, glad to see another highly-motivated aspirer to fitness.  Good luck!

71? You are my hero!!!

Time has never in my friend, I work crazy hours, I am a director in healthcare. Although it's hard to find the time, I make every effort to make it. I wake up at 3 AM every day just to make sure that I have my time for me to work out.

All of those things that you said a bout the Fitbit, I've yet to discover. I'm still in the new status. Thanks for the good words, I hope I can be you when I grow up!
