High Carb Percentages

Why are my carb percentages ALWAYS in the red?! Does Fitbit not account for the GOOD CARBS in veggies?! I don't eat any pasta or bread products. I have cut most carbs and it STILL tells me my carb intake is too high. There has to be something wrong with the way this calculates. FIX THIS!

Fitbit's food logging tool reports total majunk.pngcros and goes by the nutrition label (total carbs).

<< E.g., Birds Eye Peas, "Steamer" package:

  • If you want a finer granularity (subtracting fiber, accounting for glycemic load, whatever), you'll have to go to another logger or (perhaps) to Fitbit's premium product.
  • Alternatively, if you think "veggies don't count," then just don't log them.
  • A third choice would be to create a new food listing "Hezekiah's Peas" and enter the "corrected" carb count of 9g (12 total minus 3 fiber). Confusing to everyone else, but it might work for you.
