Depends on what you want to accomplish. I would incorporate weight and strength training as well.
I work out 4 days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays are cardio classes. Wednesday & Saturdays I do running or spin class and do 30 minutes of core/strength/weights. Depending on my week since I work full time and have 2 young children, I may squeeze in an extra day on Monday.
Best AnswerThank you awood. I would add resistance workout 2 days per week too 🙂 That sounds like a good idea!

you need to have one rest day where you do nothing more strenuous than normal activity and maybe a stretch. I have almost the same routine as awood- the key is to mix it up so avoid injury and boredom.

Best AnswerYou don't need a rest day unless you are training really heavily. You can easily do some light cardio every day. If you are training with resistance and trying to build muscle then rest days aremore important.
I find swimming and yoga on sunday work for me.
