@AleMagg  You can add Workout so it shows on your device.

On the computer Dashboard go to settings then Exercise shortcuts. Locate workout and add it. You might have to remove something else as you can only have so many.

It will need to sync before it takes place on the device t self.

Can also be done on the phone app

Just use the generic "Workout" activity. Or maybe "Yoga" (this too would be low impact).

Impacts aren’t the only factor used by Fitbit to assess an activity. There’s also your heart rate (if supported by your tracker), the velocity of your movements etc. And even if you were doing three weekly sessions of 45 minutes (which is quite a lot, for calisthenics), that would still be only 135 minutes out (1.3%) of the 10,080 total minutes there’s in a week.

you can use the generic work out as Dominique suggested. I am curious though, what is a low impact workout? Yoga, pilates, they are all listed in the drop down. What are you specifically doing?

Thanks both!

It's actually neither yoga nor pilates, it's a gym class called "Low impact" in the sense that it's low impact on the joints (so no jumping), but it's in all a fitness class: planks, squats, TRX, half burpees, abs... just excluding the big jumps part (we do jog on the spot).

I think, googleing a bit the exercise types, the closest one would be calisthenics (I don't have the generic "workout" you mention in the activity list, the only one is "Tabata workout" but i don't think it really matches...).

Thanks again,

Alessandra

Can can also set up a custom Activity (you will find at the bottom of the activity tracker.)

Once it syncs you can rename it

Thanks Wendy! I still couldn’t find it though... is it possible that it’s because I have a Fitbit Alta HR and this option is not available in my device?

I wasn't satisfied with the FitBit exercise tracker, so I synced my MyFitnessPal account to FitBit instead. Their calorie burn estimates are much more accurate than FitBit's, from my experience. YMMV. I have a FitBit Flex 1st generation, so if you have the newer ones, it will likely be a different experience.
