Increase heartbeat with little activity

Hi everyone!

I am concerned about the increase in my heartbeat with little activity.  My resting heartbeat it's usually 73, when I stand up to put a wash on or housework it will go up to 102-105.  I think it's quite an increase.  I mentioned it to my GP and he said it was normal, he did the test himself but I think he must be very fit because his heart rate was still 58 when he stood up and walked around.

I normally walk 60-80 minutes a day, and if I have time I will do cardio exercise 30 minutes 3-4 times a week.  When I exercise it goes up to 125-130 bpm.

Has anyone experienced this sudden increase in your heartbeat with little activity?

That's not a big increase in my experience.

Sounds completely normal to me. You're asking your body to do more so your heart works harder, it's not a big increase at all.
