Insanity

Just started Insanity this week with my Husband as well as Week 2 of Half Marathon Training, hoping to really shed some weight and also build muscle!

Has anyone else completed Insanity? What type of results did you have?

It's on sale this month from Team Beachbody, hence the reason we picked up this Program! 🙂

My dad has been doing Insanity recently to lose weight and build muscle. His results after 7 weeks:

He has also been working shoulders and arms with a personal trainer, and clean(er!) eating, although he still enjoys pints and bbq on the weekend!

I have also done Insanity and I've lost a little weight (I'm already healthy weight) and it has helped build upper arm strength, especially shoulders, flexibility and overall toning. It definitely gives great results as long as you stick with it, and I highly recommend following their nutrition guide for weight loss and maintaining energy levels during the programme!

Hi Jennifer, Yeah I finished the first cycle of Insanity and saw masive results. lost about 19 pounds and lost a lot of measurement as well. I'm in my 3rd week now of p90x and I get bored pretty quickly. I can relate much more with Shaun's style than Tonys. how did the Insanity work out for you?

I have completed almost every series Beachbody has.

Insanity, Asylum volumes1&2, P90X 1,2,3, Body Beast and now Insanity Max 30.

I have had tremendous results with all of them and fully encourage everyone to do them. They are addictive and I can never go back to a boring gym workout now.

Stick with it and you will not be disappointed!

I did one month of insanity and had great results, my fitness level went through the roof. I disn't loose any weight, but I put on a lot of muscle and saw my body shape change as I firmed up.

The reason I stopped was because I thought month 2 steps it up an awful lot in terms of difficulty; I got demoralised and then started working full time on long days and couldn't commit to doing insanity daily any more. But I think you're probably safe from this as you've got your husband there to support you and keep you accountable through the programme!

Sucks but I know I'll definitely do it again when I have 60 days of my life during which I can commit to doing it every day. Which may be soon! 😄

Good luck, I hope you get great results!

I got halfway through Insanity and it wasn't a good fit with my knees.  With that beign said, my fitness level was awesome and the weight was dropping off of me!  I'm also a Beachbody junkie - P90X, TurboFire, Hip Hop Abs, and my new favorite - 21 Day Fix!

Good luck!
