January 2024: Heart Rate Zones

January 10, 2024 all of a sudden I was always in fat burning zone even though the heart rates hadn’t previously changed.

How can I change the zones? This has become really frustrating to look at and is doing the opposite of what the Fitbit is supposed to do-encourage!

@Hopestuff   Can you please add more details?  We really need more specifics to help you.

  • Did you get a new Fitbit?  I looked at your public profile and saw posts in the Alta HR forum.  Newer models give active zone minutes, not active minutes and they are calculated very differently.
  • Did you recently migrate to a Google account?  Some users with gmail addresses who have Fitbit accounts have the wrong birthday in their Google accounts.  When they migrated to a Google account, their Fitbit used the Google account birthday.
