Bella, you can do it.  I am brand new to fitbit, but we took the first big step by writing down our goals.  I bet by summer you will have exceeded your goal.  Good luck!!!

Okay, I will motivate you. I am 59, I have multiple sclerosis, asthma and lupus. I train twice a week with a personal trainer, the other days I walk at our local trail or I ride my bike, if the weather is good we take our boat out and spend a few hours fishing. I was told in 1997 when I was first diagnosed with MS that I would be in a wheelchair within 10 years of my diagnoses, here it is 17 years later and I am as active as ever. If I can do this, then so can you and anyone else. Keep up the positive thinking, don't let anyone say no or put you down. If you can believe that you can do it, you can achieve your goals.

Hi everybody! It's great to hear that you are looking for different ways to get motivation. I would like to share a motivational quote that might be useful:

Strength does not come from winning, your struggles develop your strengths, when you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength. -Mahatma Gandhi.

Have a great day! Smiley LOL

I am 52 with MS and I also ride bikes, use elliptica and a spinning bike as well as do weight training, exercise is a wonderful tool for those of us with chronic illnesses. Of course I also never miss my Rebif injection. Good uck to you and I hope you have continued to do well.

I'm 55 years old, recovering from a surgery and just got a fitbit on June 18.  So far I really love it.  I used to spend my money on other diet plans only to gain and lose the same weight over and over again.  I really hated to hand out my hard earned money.  After much consideration I finally decided to try a fitbit.
