Motivation & New Friends

Hello everyone,

 

I am relatively new to Fitbit and would like to find some friends on here. I have been struggling to find my motivation so let's hear yours!

Hi Btrflychk,

 

I have had my Fitbit since April 2014.  I received a high cholesterol diagnosis last year and was determined not to go on medication.  I did pretty well last summer using my Wii run, but I got off track in the winter.  I belong to Inside Tracker to monitor my cholesterol.  Since March 2014, I have lowered my total cholesterol 20 points using the Fitbit.  I have not joined the forum here until recently.  I find it very motivating to work on raising my status in my group.  I feel it's kind of like a friendly competition.

 

I just recently went for another blood test.  My cholesterol has dropped 20 more points!  Between my exercise and discovering my food allergens through an elimination diet, my cholesterol numbers may be in the good range soon.
