My thoughts on Motivation-
•Motivation only lasts for so long it’s like kindling on a fire It can be put out by a storm
•The storm in our minds can be things such as paying bills or an argument with your wife or husband or your kids being sick
•It can be a job getting you down or you’re not losing weight fast enough or that you failed a test
•All of these things that life bring you can bring the storm of life that put that one hour of fuel out you had set aside for a workout
•That’s motivation it’s feelings and how you feel in the moment

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on motivation, @SunsetRunner.
It's true that we can run out of motivations sometimes, so motivation needs to be accompanied with self-discipline as well. 😀
Hi 100% agree with discipline being a key factor to success and totally out trumps motivation.
I will always sit down on a Sunday and have in my mind what sessions i have lined up for the coming week whether that be Cardio or weight sessions or just walks and it doesn't matter which order and what day i do them in but i owe myself to do those things.
I aim to workout around the same time each day unless i have family or work commitments.
Just tell yourself
I CAN
I WILL
I MUST
I is being disciplined enough to turn that 'i should' into a 'i must' workout today.
Good luck in life and thanks for the reply.

Excellent tips, @SunsetRunner! I totally agree, I tried many times in the past to lose weight and thought I felt motivated, but I always failed because I lacked the discipline. Once I started using Fitbit I started to change my mindset and understood the importance of discipline and a consistent food plan.
I was able to lose 30 pounds since I applied this to my routine! 😀
Hi it's great to hear your success on weight loss and defo deserves a high 5 to yourself!
I do believe it's a mindset, discipline and routine and getting that right blend.
Your brain is the most powerful weapon in the world
Your mind shows up on time every time,
It knows everything about you, your strengths, weaknesses and insecurities
Keep up the great work my friend
