I Jazzercise 5 days a week and I love it. But I never hit peak heart rate. Depending on which class I'm taking, I split between cardio and fat burn. I feel great, I'm at a good, healthy weight and I love what I do. But I'm wondering what exercising at peak heart rate does for a person and can I be maximizing my work outs by getting my heart rate up (which honestly I'm not sure how I would because I work really hard during each class).
Thoughts?

FWIW, it’s very hard for me to reach peak rate when doing stationary activities. OTOH, I can do it when running uphill (if the hill is long enough). If you can run, try running outdoors. Or try the farmer’s walk!
