My friend has a Fitbit Flex, and she wears it on her wrist most of the time. She says it's very accurate. And when she's cycling she wears it on her ankle. I've also seen her simply keep it in her pocket. 🙂

@craigh0911Hi, I have done tests with clipon Fitbits and I can only presume that the activity filters in them all apply to correct positioning of the Fitbit as recommended. I have tested the Classic, Ultra, Zip and the One and all display increased calorie burn when they are not worn as recommended. I found the steps to be accurate but the further away from the torso the calories increased dramatically. Ankle wearing, double the calorie burn and this chart shows you that for the ankle wearing. I did a double test and swapped the Fitbits because in all of my testing I have found them to be extremely accurate on step count.

Just wondering, when cycling with the fitbit on your ankle, would you manually log in the hours later, or would you do it from your tracker?
That might be a stupid question but I'm still kind of confused on how I'm going to log my cycling hours.
Thanks!
