I have just got a dog and started to walk a lot more than I usually do. I want to set a personal step goal from December 1st to May 1st and see myself making progress towards that goal. I can't see how I can get that done in the fit bit app. Does anyone know and can help?

@Matildapalm - Wait, what? A dog? What kind?
You CAN monitor your progress from December 1 as you go forward on your goal. Whenever you want to check, go to "activities" on the website and you'll see your steps for the day. Click "Today" up toward the top right of the step chart and you can check your totals between any two dates you want. In your case, the start date would be December 1, 2021, and the end date would be whatever the current date is (until you finish the end of April). Here are a couple of screen shots from my steps from that time period last year: December 1, 2020 to April 30, 2021.

Hi @Matildapalm No, I don't think you can do that formally. You can watch the total of your years steps though, in your Dashboard on the Fitbit website (not the app), but as far as I am aware you would need to start on January 1st as I don't think you can start your yearly steps on another date. The other alternative is just to keep a running total yourself.

@Matildapalm I don't think you can do that but, if you're a Premium member (or have a friend who is), you could make a Custom Challenge (or have your friend make one) that lasts 30 days every month. Then, add up your totals for each month.
