Sprint Interval Training

"Sprint Interval Training (SIT), a type of brief burst of intense exercise to be very effective for inducing health benefits.  SIT is a training program of doing 20-seconds of “all out” cycle sprints followed by 2 minutes of low-intensity cycling and then repeated."

Same concept as the Max Interval workouts on the Bowflex Max Trainer...

25 seconds of high intensity followed by 1 minute 20 seconds of low intensity "rest."

8 cycles of that is a helluva workout and takes a mere 14 minutes.

Love my Max Trainer. 😄
