Steps In Exercise Log

I need to take off my watch for things like basketball games and such. In these cases my steps for the few hours are of course not logged. Today I noticed that I had gotten 9,991 steps for the previous day and realized I forgot to log my exercise. When I did, it made no difference to my step count.

I’ve noticed the same thing even when I immediately log my exercise. Is the feature not supposed to add any steps at all? I couldn’t find any other way to log steps.

Hey @Milanbvd , I don't know if this will help, especially since I'm still using a Charge 2 . I've have to sync my watch with the phone app. before it'll show any data that I've either inputed or right after a walk. If it's early in the morning say 7:00 a.m. it'll still take about a 1/2 hr.or so before it shows the steps or whatever. If it's around 9:00 a.m. and I sync. my Charge 2 after a walk the steps show up right away. I have no idea why but it works like this all the time. If I don't sync. my watch after walking my steps will show up but it takes a while.

When  I manually enter an exercise, it does not add active minutes to my day.  It asks me for a time frame and a calorie count and recharacterizes that time into an exercise that can be logged.  My Active Zone Minutes for the day don't rise, the number of those minutes recorded in the exercise log do.
